My life has been nothing but spasmatic drama of late.
I want time off from it...
And not one of those self induced coma vacations I've been having.

My sister finally found out what was happening with me last night and brought me a french silk pie.
Later that night I sat on the porch with dude
"resident smoking buddy for my building"
Ate pie,
smoke,
drank,
talked religion and physics,
Played protective father figures with the 40 year old taking out the 26 year old friend of our on a first date,
and generally concreted our usual position as...
Those guys on the porch.
I love it!
I, however, have no idea what I'll do when Dude moves and I'll have to find a real social life. |

So, to finish my last post about faire, and I'll be short about it.
friday night I went to watch some gypsies dance at the drum circle, sat night I went to the court dance to hang out with the girls and mims, and by girls I mean these three little kids that follow mims and us around all weekend, there pretty great. I only danced one dance and hung out and drank my jug of buds rootbeer and Captn morgans, which I still maintain is the best mix ever. The rest of the night I spent with david and his friends reminiscing and hopefully not being to annoingly drunk. Then I went and passed out on the ground next to but not quite in my tent... good times:)
sunday I messed up quite a bit, like every fight I had forgot several props and broke nates finger... That sucked.
I also spent my day moping around.
But still... Great faire:) |

So faire was moderatly interesting.
Friday night involved driving, eating far to much chicken, really, jubilee cafe, best place ever, all you can eat chicken meal where they just keep bringing you plate after plate of chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, applesause, saurkraut, manderin marsmellow salad, rolls and fritters ooooh goooood the friters....
anyhoo... after that I set up my tent and generally got settled which involved sitting in a chair, drinking and hoping that my chicken swollen belly would not pop.
Got to hang out with david on friday and saturday night. Friday night with discussions of many uncomfortable stories, uncomfortable for me, hopefuly funny for others :)
The shows on satuday actually went alot better than the shows on sunday. I'm pretty sure I didn't mess much of anything up on saturday...
Sunday was a different story...

I'm back to work from my week vacation.
It was pretty good. Alot of lounging and drinking. Rachel and I also went camping at backbone. Lots of hiking was done. I'l post some pictures later.
Now I really want to do a more extensive hiking trip.

This lady that works on the dock here at younkers gave me here one week (thats right) one week notice on monday. Which takes my dock down one person. Then next week I am on vacation which takes the crew down two people... I'm wondering if I should just skip my vacation for now...
It sucks cause I really wanted the week off. |

| I LOVE SLIDE GUITAR! |

I started playing around with side guitar this weekend and I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!
At first I thought it would be really easy, and sort of a hack skill but after studying up on it I've discovered it to be an extremely difficult skill to master.
If your extremely lucky I might upload a recording I made a couple hours after I bought the slide.
I think it's pretty impressive for such a short period of time but that might just be me. Feel free to skip downloading it:)
Pluss the first one that I bought was a glass one more for acoustic guitar (in my mind at least) and I found that the guitar with the best sound for slide happens to be the one my father made me.
So basically I'm playing slide blues on what looks like a lute :)
The second slide I bought today. A metal one for electric guitar. Know where I bought it?
Lowes home improvement.

Cheeseburger!!!
I lost some weight recently, unfortunatly not from my tummy, which is the only place I wish to lose weight....
I suppose my only recourse now is exercise... damn you beer belly gods!
anyway, now im going to congratulate myself by having a cheesburger over lunch today.
I was not built to make sense:)
So I finally bought a new mic yesterday, my old one was destroyed when doused in wine. So hopefully I can start recording again. |

I feel alot better this morning. It's funny how my depressive states only last a day or so now. rather than the weeks long marathon sessions I used to hold before.
Thanks for your words guys.
Plus, instead of taking a personal day from work yesterday I drove around town picking up supplies for the store blasting lynyrd skynyrd and actually getting something done....

I dismantled a printer today to switch out one of the circuit boards. the whole time I was thinking, this is something I used to get in trouble for when I was a kid.
I love my job...
Though I don't really want to be here.
I'm wanting for a personal day so I can clear up my head.
But I don't feel like I can take one.
Also I'm feeling pretty usless today, with an over all sense Of never really understanding how normal people see things. Like I'm shut out, or have shut myself out, from knowing what the right thing to do really is.
I feel like I've mismanaged my life, mistreated everyone I know, and am so far detached from the point in the path where I took my first mistep that I'll never be able to return.
I think I've burnt all my bridges.
